Rossland is steeped in Mountain Bike History and rich in sweet Mountain Bike Trails. We first visited “Canada’s Mountain Bike Capital” in 2017 and we’re thrilled to be back for the final two stages of Singletrack 6 2021!

The Stage:

Stage 6 is a great mix of riding on Red Mountain and Rossland North. This stage is similar to the route we used for the 2017 Stage 2, but with some great new trails included. The stage starts with a climb up the ski hill to descend the fun Pay Dirt downhill. Then we head towards town on the new Blue Elephant trail - a green trail with tons of flow. Once you make your way to the other side of the highway via an underpass and hit Checkpoint 1, you will have a moderate climb to get to the top of the new Stardust trail, an amazingly fun new blue downhill. Continue descending on Milky Way to the low point of the course below town, and then it’s time to start climbing again. You’ve got a short descent before Checkpoint 2, and then the biggest climb of the day up to the top of Red Mountain. The timed descent will go down the Redhead singletrack, a twisty singletrack down the face of the mountain. One more moderate climb will take you part way back up Pay Dirt to give you a fun final descent to the finish line at Red Mountain! Congrats, you made it!
