When ST6 was officially canceled this summer, Jess and Jenn of Ellevate XC decided to use the time they had reserved for the race to ride their own Singletrack 6 “Friends Edition”. They rode the first four stages of the race in Fernie and Kimberley, and by all accounts, it was a great time!
Ellevate XC is an elite women’s cross country mountain bike team based in British Columbia. Their mission is to support BC’s developing female cross country MTB athletes and to increase female representation in the sport and on the trails.
James and Stephen decided they weren’t going to let the cancellation stop them from “getting out there and getting it done”. The two friends rode six stages in Fernie, Kimberley and Rossland. Great work guys!
And last, but certainly not least, Ryan and Scott made the most of their week with a Singletrack 6 “vacay” of their own. Cheers to singletrack, adventure and great friends!
